Thanksgiving 2008

We spent Thanksgiving in Montevallo with the Sawyer clan. Aunt Kathy came down from B'ham for the day. It is always a treat to see her. She always is excited to see us and the girls. She was surprised by how much they had grown, especially RuRu. This time she seemed very taken with Bama and wanted to hold him a lot. Of course, we also got to spend time with Granny Sawyer, Mimi and Grandfather, Aunt Lynn,Uncle Joe and Aunt Tina. Mimi single handedly prepared our feast. What a woman! We sure are thankful for her. There would have been some rumbly tummies without all her preparations. Giving thanks is something we should do daily for we have much to be thankful for. God knew we'd need others to encourage and support us on life's journey. I am so very thankful, today and everyday, for family and friends who do just that. I am blessed indeed!
